Yesterday we had a wonderful event at the American Legion Post 416 St. Helen MI. The Auxiliary group organized a car show, a craft show, live entertainment, food,Rider gathering, rider equipment sales and nature provided a beautiful day up until we were about to award our car show winners their unique prizes. At that point nature decided we should have some of that badly needed rain. Well we took it inside our hall and presented our awards without the beautiful cars and trucks with their owners who put their passion and sweat equity into their hobby. The trophies were most unique and hand made by one of our Auxiliary officers father. A big shout out to Lynn Dewey for his creative inspiration to make trophies for car enthusiests out of old car parts.. The winners are as follows: The Best of Show as well as Best in Class 1970 to present was Stan Kabat. The Best in Motorcycle division was Biz Hartwick. The Best Antique award went to Debbie Kabat. The Auxiliary Choice winner was Glenn Hacker. The Sponsor of the event-CAB Benefits Group gave their award to Dave Wirthmann. The Most Original Class winner was Gary Truax and the Best in Trucks went to Tom Drake
